As a site dedicated towards everything pink, I guess its only right the singer should feature. Perhaps 8 years ago, On a lazy evening I turned on the TV to see the singer Pink interviewed. My initial impressions were that this girl is quite attractive and is a bit of a 'bad girl'. Having hair that was dyed pink added to the aura.
A bad boy is someone who lives life to the full, an individual who is prepared to go to extremes, something that the regular person
may not do. In society a 'bad boy' is often prescribed as someone who may get involved in shady dealings such as with the law, may not
be good to people, someone who may treat people with sham. For example a 'bad boy' may be someone who treat women loosely, advantage seeker
and is generally unkind. I suppose a 'bad girl' is the female version of the male description.
I, however, disagree with all these stereotype. I would say a bad boy is someone who gives maximum energy towards a cause and gets what he
wants. Someone who can be assertive, domineering and the leader of the pack. Someone who is there to look after the welfare of people.
These are all great qualities to have in a human being. A bad boy can also be a bit of a party animal type. Someone who enjoys social events and revels in the fun such situations bring. I would say the singer, fits this initial impression.
The singer Pink, is very successful at what she does. I don't believe someone reaches a plateau of development and to that end
must great qualities. All of this is just impression from seeing someone on tv a million miles away. For all people know, behind closed
doors a person may be librarian like. Who knows!
There are others who appear similar type of people such as Madonna and Courtney Love. Both have a very domineering side to them. The difference however between the two is that
one is very healthy (into exercise, yoga, etc), focussed and committed, it seems. The other has a tendency for substance abuse as reported.
Pink has been involved in artistic as a musician pursuits since a teenager, involved in various groups till taking off as a mega solo star.
Born in 1979 as Alecia Beth Moore changed her name to Pink. Maybe because it suited with her persona. With tonnes of hits the most notable
'Get the Party Started'.
The great thing about pink is her longevity and the ability to continue to stay at the pinnacle in the music world an industry known for its short notoriety. There are many bands and solo artists that start in a similar manner, producing music for teen flicks only to enter oblivion very quickly for whatever reason. Such as band separation, change of ideas, losing interest in the project or whatever.
Pink has been involved in the music industry for over 15 years and having been a well established artist for the last decade.
Started off as very much as Soul and R&B singer having been involved various collaboration in this niche but have moved onto more rock orientated music. Still listening to her soundtracks you can see the soul influence.
With millions of fans worldwide her star continues to shine.
